LILIN are pleased to introduce ‘Surveillance for Custom Install.’ This new training course is designed to demystify IP HD cameras and Network Video Recorders (NVR’s) and ultimately leave Home Automation dealers and installers feeling confident about using LILIN security solutions in their custom installations.

The one day course introduces users to LILIN products and allows them to discover their multiple unique benefits. LILIN’s Product Trainer demonstrates and educates installers in a practical session that includes a detailed look at camera configuration, features and camera selection. Also covered is the operation and installation of the LILIN NVR.

The course takes a hands-on approach to IP video training and aims to leave users confident with IP Video Security Systems and help them win new business. By the end of the course dealers and installers will be able to take advantage of their new understanding of LILIN technology and utilise the benefits it offers.

‘Surveillance for Custom Install’ covers everything from system architecture to setting up a complete 4 Channel IP recording system. By the end of the session attendees will be able to successfully specify and set up an IP system with confidence.

The course is designed for both the novice with little experience in HD IP security solutions and the expert who wishes to top up their knowledge in the latest security developments within the industry.

LILIN to attend ISE 2013 in Amsterdam later this month

LILIN are excited to be showcasing integration with Control4® at ISE between the 29th-31st January 2013. The exhibition will introduce customers to exciting new products that allow users of Control4® automation systems to control LILIN IP products from the same software platform that controls other appliances in their home or business.

Occupying 12 halls and over 32,500sq. metres, ISE is the best-attended show in the professional AV and electronic systems industry, anywhere in the world, with over 40,000 visitors each year.

The entire LILIN IP product range from megapixel cameras to Network Video Recorders can now be used with Control4 systems. The PTZ function embedded in LILIN IP cameras allows users to move the camera, zoom and select presets all from the Control4 interface.

Skydd 2012 – another great show for LILIN.

LILIN delivered ‘the complete HD experience’ at Skydd 2012 in Stockholm, Sweden last week. Those who visited the LILIN stand learnt about three innovative HD IP technology solutions; the NVR Touch, the HD Decoder and the latest generation of iMEGAPRO cameras.

LILIN demonstrated the recently launched NVR Touch; the world’s first standalone NVR that enables simultaneous recording of 16 HD IP video channels at 25 FPS. In addition to familiar DVR-style controls, a unique multi touchscreen interface allows for simple operation. The touch screen operation was demonstrated and projected onto large monitors, grabbing the attention of many.

The latest iMEGAPRO range received constant attention due to the 3MP quality delivering stunning low light images. Sense Up+ technology, a unique feature of LILIN cameras, utilizes intelligent image signal processing, providing the ultimate low light image without motion blur. Available models include CS mount box cameras, vandal-resistant domes, mini-domes, the world’s first external HD IR camera with a 60m range and the world’s smallest 1080P camera.

LILIN’s HD 1080P real-time decoder was also on show. Enabling full screen or quad viewing of HD IP cameras streamed directly to a monitor without a PC, the decoder has a HDMI output and benefits from keyboard control enabling up to 255 cameras to be selected. As another product to benefit from brilliantly simple touch screen control, LILIN’s decoder is the most cost effective way to get HD IP video direct to your monitor. The HD decoder won the ‘innovative achievement’ award at the Detektor awards ceremony held in conjunction with the exhibition. Jason Hill, Group Vice President of LILIN collected the award during a ceremony attended by 550 invited guests, “We were delighted to be nominated for an award, but to receive the innovation title is brilliant. The unique standalone solution we have developed is just one of the ways we have brought simplicity to the installer; our innovation is paving the way for the rest of the security industry.
